EDM superstar Marshmello is heading to the big screen—this time as a Smurf. The helmeted DJ has joined the voice cast of Paramount’s upcoming live-action/CGI hybrid Smurfs film.
While his role is still under wraps, Marshmello will star alongside Rihanna (Smurfette), John Goodman (Papa Smurf), and a star-studded lineup including Daniel Levy, Hannah Waddingham, and Nick Kroll. With South Park’s Pam Brady penning the script and Shrek’s Chris Miller directing, fans can expect a fun-filled adventure.
This marks another exciting chapter for Mello, who continues expanding beyond music after dropping his The Roots album in late 2024.
