Hard techno artist Fantasm (Kenzo Meservey) has been legally vindicated following a major defamation ruling by the Lyon Judicial Court.
The decision addresses a wave of severe sexual misconduct allegations that began circulating online when the artist was 19, which heavily impacted his career and led to multi-festival line-up removals during the recent “Techno Files” fallout.

The court found the primary accuser guilty of public defamation, ruling that the claims had zero factual basis and rejecting a defense of “good faith.”
Fantasm was awarded €10,000 in professional damages, alongside compensation for emotional distress and legal fees, marking a definitive legal conclusion to the controversy.
