Ossama Al Sarraf, one half of the Grammy-nominated progressive house duo Sultan + Shepard, has shared a deeply personal update regarding his health.
In a moving Instagram post, the producer revealed he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis a few years ago—a chronic condition that causes lung scarring and severe shortness of breath.

After years of private denial, Al Sarraf bravely opened up to reduce the stigma around chronic health struggles.
Fans may now notice him using a nasal cannula and supplemental oxygen during their high-energy sets.
Supported by his partner Ned Shepard, he confirmed that his passion remains untouched and the duo’s tour schedule will proceed exactly as planned.
